The Albert Park Indoor Centre was set up by 5 trustee members, Russel Easton, Joe Sprangers, Keith Parsons, David Livingston and Steve Gibson. It was an idea they had 6 years ago to build something the whole community could use.

The Indoor Centre was officially opened on the 26th September 2015 by his worship the Mayor of Waipa Jim Mylchreest. The Albert Park Indoor Centre offers indoors sports such as netball, cricket, soccer, turbo touch, hockey and Holiday programmes.

Adam was born in England, settling in New Zealand 4 years ago. He has a passion for all sports, but with his main background playing representative Rugby for Hampshire RFU and spending 4 years in the London Irish Academy. Graduating from the University of Winchester with a BSC (Hons) Sport Science has given him a great knowledge base to help future programs at the Indoor Centre.
